4th Annual West Valley Juneteenth Celebration

Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. On June 19th, 1865, Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced the end of slavery, marking a significant milestone in American history. Juneteenth is a time for reflection, education, and celebration of freedom and equality for all.

The 4th Annual West Valley Juneteenth celebration is being held in Glendale., on June 15th. Our theme this year is Honoring The Past, Embracing The Future.
